專業研發團隊
金農興集團設有研發中心，研發部門於2001年正式進駐國立中正大學創新育成中心。除積極研發新產品技術，對外亦連結各大學實驗室，並與國立臺灣大學、國立中正大學、國立嘉義大學進行產學合作。利用創新技術配合學術研究，將畜牧業帶入一個新的里程碑。
核心技術－賀博士健康科技平台
為滿足現代人對「食」的品質要求及養生的潮流趨勢，金農興生物科技公司開始發展「賀博士健康科技平台(Herb-Porch Health Tech.)」，將特殊中藥草及薰衣草、鼠尾草、羅勒...等歐式香草提取後加入禽畜飼糧中，藉以排除毒素、增強抵抗力、防止疾病產生，並祛除腥味、增加肉品甘甜度及彈性。此技術已數度在世界肉品學術研討大會發表並廣獲150多國學者專家的肯定，更是台灣第一獲得國際論文、科學期刊支持的飼養技術。

專業研究報告
由國立嘉義大學連塗發教授所發表的論文，及中央畜產會香草豬肝臟檢驗報告中得知，賀博士技術能有效排除動物體內的化學藥劑殘留。而本技術不論使用於任何品系豬種，肉質皆無腥味。國立嘉義大學林高塚教授所完成的香草豬研究論文，更證明了賀博士技術平台，可將抗氧化物質存留於動物體內，對抗自由基。
